Christmas Salmon Fishing Report 2023
Only a few more days until Christmas! The weather over the last month has been warmer and calmer than normal. This has meant that we have been on the water a lot and been able to target winter chinook salmon with ease. The fishing has been solid in Vancouver with good numbers of winter chinook in Howe Sound and Vancouver Harbour. Our Sidney salmon charters on Vancouver Island have also been successful with some nice fish coming from Haro Strait! Good sign for the coming months!

Late October Fishing Update For Vancouver and Sidney
The fall rains have started and we have now switched gears to targeting winter chinook salmon in Vancouver, the Southern Gulf Island's and Sidney. Looking back at August and September, we were happy with the fishing, with good numbers of chinook around as well as lots of pinks and some coho. During September, we saw some very large fish off the Fraser River Mouth with more fish over 30 pounds landed than we have seen in recent years
