Vancouver Fishing Report Oct 7/12
We have had a number of successful fishing charters off of our dock at Granville Island over the last few days! Thursday, Friday, and Saturday were all very active days off the West Vancouver shoreline. On Friday, Van Herring had a great day boating 6 legal chinook! We have been averaging 3 to 10 hook ups a trip! Most of the hook ups have been on mature chinook, but there have been a few coho, some chinook jacks, a 10 pound winter chinook, and even a chrome chum!!
With the extremely dry and warm weather forecasted for the next couple weeks a lot of the salmon are delaying their entry into local rivers. Good news for us saltwater anglers!
We should expect the Capilano chinook fishery to continue for another couple weeks! Give us a call if you want to head out on the water! It is like summer out there!
