Vancouver Fishing Report, Sept 24th
The heavy rain on Sunday seemed to bring in some decent numbers of fish to the West Vancouver shoreline. The action on the flooding tide was pretty decent yesterday morning and again this morning. Fish in the 10-25 pound range were found between 40 and 90 feet over the last couple days. Herring and anchovies were the ticket as usual. We will see waves of chinook salmon bound for the Capilano River for the next few weeks.
Sturgeon fishing was fantastic on the weekend on the Lower Fraser River. Luke guided his guests into double digit numbers of sturgeon. Sturgeon fishing is awesome right now and will continue into November and December.
